“Just wanted to say a big thank you for last night. Your technicians were great and so helpful. All the technology and film worked brilliantly. I would not hesitate to use London Audio Visual again. The customer service was particularly good.”

Middle Temple has a historic heritage dating as far back as the middle of the 14th Century. The main hall is a magnificent example of architectural work during the Elizabethan era. With working beginning in 1562, the hall has remained in good condition and little has been changed up to the present day. London Audio Visual were delighted to be contacted by Christ’s Hospital and have the opportunity to work in such a majestic venue.
Christ’s Church charity event centered on a new promotional video which was to be showcased for the first time to 200 guests. It was also important to use a video screen system suitable for presenting still images throughout the remainder of the event.
After more detailed discussions our team had a better understanding of what the event would involve and the importance of the video. Based on this knowledge our technicians advised not to use a projection system, as the seating arrangement and the grand piano on the main stage would result in limited visibility for some audience members.

Instead we recommended using 2 sleek 80” dual screens, this would be better suited for the venue as, the light coming into the hall during the afternoon slot of the event would have minimal impact on the screens, reducing the risk of poor visibility for the audience. The motorised screen stalk stands allowed for the technicians to secure the screens at the correct height for all to see clearly.
The use of the 8” loudspeakers delivered precise and powerful sound. The compact size of these speakers allowed for sound to be incorporated in a discreet manner, which meant the historical beauty of the venue was not compromised.
Lighting was an important factor for the charity event, particularly for the pianist on the main stage. The client was impressed with the overall look of the stage lighting our technicians had set up. Around the rest of the room, par can LED uplighters were distributed evenly in the brand colour to help endorse the theme of the charity.
Overall the client was extremely happy with the outcome and we were proud to have been given the opportunity to work with them and privileged to have our equipment used in such a remarkable historical building.
